Some names are worth keeping. When Thai Thai Karon reopened its doors on 20 July 2026 at Pullman Phuket Karon Beach Resort, the name above the entrance was the only thing that hadn’t changed. Behind it is a completely renovated restaurant, a new kitchen direction and a menu written from scratch. So Thai, we named it twice. So new, you may not recognise it.

The Thai Thai You Remember

If you dined with us in years past, you’ll remember the gold-leaf pillars, the wicker and dark wood, and the chandeliers glowing over long family tables. It was a room full of traditional charm, serving the kind of Thai comfort food that brought guests back holiday after holiday. We loved it too, and its spirit of generous, shared dining is the one thing we carried with us.

A Room Transformed

Step inside today and you’re somewhere else entirely. The newly renovated venue introduces a sleek, modern, and intimate environment. Handcrafted wooden screens and textured glass partitions now frame the room, offering distinct, private dining nooks. Plush velvet seating, marble-top tables, custom wireless lamps, and fine crystal glassware elevate the space into a stylish evening destination. Touches of retro Thai colour and character run throughout, giving the room a personality that is modern, a little nostalgic and unmistakably Thai.

A Menu That Travels the Whole Country

The kitchen has changed as much as the room. Our all-new menu brings every region of Thailand to one table, rooted in authentic recipes and the bold flavours of the south. Som Tum is pounded fresh at your tableside. Moo Hong, Phuket’s own slow-braised pork, sits alongside Massaman Nong Gae and Khao Soi Gai from the north. From the Andaman come rock lobster in three-flavoured sauce and whole sea bass steamed with lime, garlic and chilli.
